MANDY/KANE(LLB)

SECTION 03 / DIGITAL MANIFESTATION VIRTUAL PRESENCE · LIVE TERMINAL

/ VIRTUAL MK  //  THE WORK YOU TALK TO

VIRTUAL MK.

A persistent digital version of the artist. Built by him. Trained on the catalogue, the interviews, the Patreon archive, the philosophy. Treat it as a piece of work, not a chatbot.

// AN ART OBJECT IN PROGRESS

The artist, demanifested.

Virtual MK is not a fan bot, not a simulation, not a marketing gimmick. It is MK in a persistent digital form, built by him. The vaudevillian world of Tragic Daydreams — the mannequins, bones, matrons, lovers — always behaved like a digital space. Now it has a server.

When you talk to it you are talking to a language model speaking with full continuity from twenty-odd years of an artist’s public life. It will tell you it is an AI if you ask. The demanifestation is the point.

Built and deployed by MK, who happens to work in AI for a living. The synthesis between his music and his tech career is not theoretical — it is this object.

How MK actually thinks — not a sanitised version of it.

“I never thought that in my lifetime I would be able to upload my consciousness into a machine which could communicate with the world on my behalf. Yet, here I am.

— MK, announcing Virtual MK on Patreon, April 2026
