The original obsession. Before the 4-track recorder, before the bands, before any of the records, there was the kid in Melbourne who wanted to make video games. Twenty-some years later — finally shipping them.

Trippy Skool.

Psychedelic endless runner. You’re late for class. You sprint from the bedroom to the classroom across ten stages and a clock that runs out in ten to fourteen minutes, dodging principals, picking up mushrooms, and trying not to land in detention.

One HTML file. No analytics. No trackers. Plays in any browser.

Built single-handed in vanilla JavaScript and the Web Audio API. Three difficulty modes. A local leaderboard that tracks your bests by difficulty. Procedural music that shifts as you move through each stage. Installs to your phone home screen via Add to Home Screen on iOS or Android.

The kid who wanted to make games is the same kid who wanted to make records is the same kid who wanted to know how the machine worked. This is the loop closing.

More to come.

A handful of other things in the pipeline. The same approach: built in the browser, no engine, no middleware, ship it when it’s done.

Music and machines have always been the same project. Games are where the loop closes.
